Capt. Chris Haught is a Florida native, born and raised in the Tampa Bay, Florida area fishing these waters as a boy in search of the same species he now guides others to. Capt. Chris is very knowledgeable of his home waters and knows the surroundings and conditions it takes to make a fantastic Florida charter fishing adventure.

As a licensed and insured guide, safe boating habits are practiced at all times. Capt. Chris guides his trips in a 2002, 22 ft. Pathfinder with 200 hp Yamaha Vmax outboard on a hydraulic jack plate.

A Typical Day of Charter Fishing

Our typical day starts out at our selected dock. From there we run to a nearby grass flat in search for the baitfish we will be using. Capt. Chris will throw the net a few times collecting a few hundred baitfish and then we're off to our fishing grounds!

We can start out fishing the mangroves early for fantastic Snook action in the backcountry then head over to the beaches or bridges for some exciting Tarpon action on light tackle. We will end the day with some fabulous shallow water Redfish and Trout action on the grass flats.

After returning to the dock at the end of the day, Capt. Chris will filet and package your catch. This is a sample day since we also charter for Mackerel, Grouper, Jack Crevalle, Cobia, Snapper, Pompano, Silver Trout, Flounder, and the list goes on!

Included in All Trips:

A trophy trout caught in Florida's Tampa Bay.Bait, tackle, and license provided. Filet and packaging of fish. Instruction is provided on all trips. Capt. Chris is a knowledgeable and patient instructor that makes fishing the way it is supposed to be - FUN!!!

Guarantee:

Capt. Chris is a full time professional guide with a lifetime of local fishing experience. This is no fish, no pay. No excuses. There will be days on the water when mother nature doesn't provide the best conditions for fishing for certain species of fish. In this situation, Capt. Chris reserves the right to fish for other species that are willing to eat in this weather to fulfill the no fish no pay guarantee.

Rates:

  • 4 Hour Charter = $350
  • 6 Hour Charter = $425
  • 8 Hour Charter = $525

Prices are for 1-2 anglers. A 3rd and 4th angler may be included for an additional $50 each.
