Tampa Bay fishing report

Today we stuck with the trout fishing and mackerel on the edges of flats fishing the bait schools. We boated some keeper fish for the fish fry and plenty of mackerel that were released to fight another day. The jacks and ladyfish are still mixed in with these fish and provide a great bonus while fishing. They (all the species above)provide a great opportunity for the fly rod when they're thick in the bait schools and eating small baits on the surface. We tried shark fishing briefly but struck out today. We had 2 or 3 good runs from sharks but they dropped the bait before coming tight on the hook. This consistent fishing will remain for weeks so book a trip today to cash in on non stop rod bending action!

Tight lines...
