Tampa Bay FishingReport Date: October 24, 2010Fall fishing is in full force! We've got great trout fishing in the shallows, along with the redfish and snook. The beaches and passes we're seeing spanish and king mackerel and occasionally the big breeder redfish schools. Also in the mouth of the passes there are plenty of bluefish, mackerel, ladyfish, and jack crevalle to keep you busy if you like to throw jigs. The deep water structures in our passes and canals are holding grouper and flounder right now. The ships channel is holding schools of Bonita and mackerel eating small frye bait fish along with sharks under the predator fish. |
