Tampa Fishing Charter Report

Report Date: December 19, 2011

Trout have been getting better every trip with numbers and size. The redfish are staying on the skinny flats in potholes on low tide phases and mixed with the mullet on high tide. Sheepshead are making a show but still not what they should be. I think it's the warm winter we're having and as soon as some good cold fronts move thru and drop water temps the sheepshead fishing should getter better. Flounder are in the same areas as the reds on low tide in the potholes. Shrimp and jigs are key this time of year. Trout season opens January 1st and should be a great year for them seeing how we're doing on them now! Let's go fishing!!

Till next time,

Capt. Chris
