St. Petersburg fishing

Report Date: April 28, 2008

Today we fished the St. Petersburg area near Fort DeSoto park. I had 2 anglers aboard and we fished for several different species on the flats and the bridge structures. We had a VERY slow tide but we still were able to be persistent and get some fish to chew. The list of things caught were grouper, bluefish, jack crevalle. The snook were eating our baits but not oonnecting with the business end of the hook on most occasions. The water temp is staying consistent in the areas I'm fishing due to mother nature finally putting a hault to the cold fronts.

Some good tarpon dates still available! Call today to reserve your date!

Tight lines,
