Tampa fishing

Report Date: June 6, 2008

Today was a great day to be on the water. It was nice and calm and it was warm but the fish kept us busy and we forgot all about the sun. We started off fishing the flats for seatrout, mackerel, and whatever else came our way. We caught a bunch of fish just throwing small baits out under corks and watching them get hit almost immediately on each throw. Once we had our fill of that we moved on to fishing redfish on the flats. This takes a little more time to locate but once you find your fish if you've been quiet and patient the reward is usually a non stop bite. Well that's exactly what we got.

We fished these fish until my clients said no more.

We were doubled up as fast as I could keep the bait on! Had a great time Roy and John!!
